Harvey Dent, known as Two-Face, is a tragic villain originating from DC Comics. He first appeared in Detective Comics #66 (August 1942).
Before his disfigurement, Dent was Gotham City's young and incorruptible District Attorney, a key ally to Batman and Commissioner Gordon in their fight against organized crime. He was known for his strong moral compass and dedication to justice.
His transformation into Two-Face occurred when a mob boss, Sal Maroni, threw acid at Dent during a trial. The acid scarred half of Dent's face, shattering his psyche. This horrific event unleashed a hidden duality within him.
As Two-Face, Dent's decisions are dictated by the flip of a coin. One side of the coin is pristine, representing his former self, while the other side is scarred, mirroring his disfigured appearance. This coin determines whether he will show mercy or inflict harm, making him an unpredictable and dangerous force.
